NOTICE 4/18/06
At least one Cameroon scammer, a "Dr MAAH Martin N." has stolen Hyacinth Macaw images from our web site and is using them
to MISREPRENT birds that he claims to have for sales. HE DOES NOT HAVE THESE BIRDS FOR SALE; IT IS A LIE.
This is in violation of my copyright and he is a scoundrel and a thief!

On several occasions, I have become aware that images, photographed by me and presented on this website, have been unlawfully taken and used without permission on other websites. Some of you have e-mailed to let us know when you have seen our images used in this way (and we thank-you very much for the "heads-up"!). Often, the images of our birds are used on other sites to misrepresent birds for sale on other sites. Please know that all bird images on our site were photographed by Gail Worth of birds owned or raised by Aves International unless otherwise noted. We consider it unethical that other sites would misrepresent the birds that they raise and sell by showing stolen images of our birds or anyone else's birds. We would appreciate notification if you see our uncredited images on other websites. We will notify the site owner of any illegal use of our images and ask that they be taken down immediately. We do hope you enjoy the many images of our birds on this website and appreciate your cooperation!

In the event that an infringement is discovered, the offender will be notified and invoiced the industry standard TRIPLE FEE for unauthorised usage and/or prosecuted for Copyright Infringement in U.S. Federal Court where the offender will be subject to pay our court costs and attorneys' fees as well as a fine of US$150,000.00 statutory damages.

We do grant the use of our images, with credit, for educational purposes. For this permission, we need a request for specific images and the exact nature of the requested use. We would then grant permission in writing and release the use of the images.

We do license the usage of our images (of birds and many other genres of images) for commercial purposes. We will soon announce a new web site to showcase the available images. Please enquire for rates, thank-you!

update 4/4/05 It has come to my attention that "J" in Norwalk California has been using images of my Senegal Parrots. These images were removed illegally from our web site, without permission, and have been emailed and represented as actual birds raised and for sale by "J". I have asked him to cease and
desist immediately. If any of you were misled by this man, I am indeed sorry.
