There are thirteen photographs total including Hawk-headed Parrot (cover and November), Goffin Cockatoo (January), White-Crowned Pionus (February), Fallow Green-Cheeked Conure (March), Tres Maria Amazon Parrot (April), Green-Rumped Parrotlet (May), Severe Macaw (June), Desmarest's Fig Parrot (July), Umbrella Cockatoo (August), Painted Conure (September), Caninde Macaw (October), Hawk-Headed Parrot (November), and Female Red-Sided Eclectus (December) and two Green-Cheeked Conures on the back cover.
The calendar is a large 10" by 13" with large boxes for daily notes. Each photograph is captioned with the common and scientific names of the birds in the photograph, the bird's age, and a few comments about each species featured. The calendars are shrink-wrapped with a cardboard insert for stability in shipment.
