Below is a list of species and prices for the 2017 season for domestic, closed-banded babies.
We will accept a deposit to reserve the next available baby at any time.

Many species are available in unrelated stock for breeding. DNA sexing is available at additional charge, depending upon species and gender. Aves International breeds most of the species listed but in some cases the birds will be supplied by another reliable breeder (this will be disclosed in advance). Health is completely guaranteed! All birds will be sold/shipped completely weaned. We cannot predict the exact weaning time of an individual bird in advance. See this page for average weaning ages of the species we raise/sell. Prices are FOB (airfreight collect) Los Angeles International Airport. Objective industry references are available upon request. We have been in business for over 44 years and are well-known in the industry.

what is New World breeding season?

"waiting list" means that we have a waiting list beyond the number of eggs and/or babies that we currently have. In case of a cancellation, the next person on the waiting list will be assigned the next available baby.
We cannot tell you how long the wait will be on any species for which we have a waiting list.

We are accepting deposits now to reserve baby birds

Other species are sometimes available (see our complete current availability here: http://www.avesint.com/regpricelist.html). A twenty-five percent non-refundable deposit of the bird's base price is necessary to secure an order- click here- reserving. A receipt for the deposit will be mailed along with a sheet of diet recommendations and a hatch certificate. If your state law requires a health certificate (i.e. Hawaii), the charge for this is $75.00 per shipment. (Hawaii also requires a West Nile Permit- cost is $200.00 or more for the veterinary cost for this process.) Crating charge is $35.00 per crate. Airfreight charges will be shipped COD whenever possible and are paid at the time the shipment is picked up at the airport by the buyer. United Airfreight must be prepaid in advance of the shipment. The total balance due on the bird(s), and any other charges such as sexing charge or health certificate, and any prepaid airfreight charges is due when the bird(s) is/are weaned and ready to ship. If undue delays occur that are not the fault of Aves International, a $5.00 per bird per day boarding charge will be assessed until shipment occurs.Specified gender DNA sexing charges vary from $45.00 to $100.00 per bird depending upon the species and the sex required. DNA sexing with no gender specified costs $30.00. Sight sexing is done at no charge but is not guaranteed on species that are not obviously dimorphic. Prices are subject to change without notice. Price is guaranteed to not go higher for any orders secured with a deposit and a lower price will be honored if the pricing lowers during the waiting period after a deposit is paid.Please add 3% PayPal fees when paying via PayPal, thank-you.

For local sales in the Greater Los Angeles area, birds can be picked up locally in San Pedro.
We do not operate a retail store nor a showroom and do not have a place to come see our babies nor our breeding stock. Sorry, we cannot arrrange to see the birds in person as we do not operate this type of a facility. This is a wholesale breeding farm, not a retail bird store, sorry.

HEALTH GUARANTEE: We guarantee all birds to be free of disease when shipped.
If a bird should become ill, we must be notified within twenty-four hours of onset of symptoms. All birds are shipped without any physical defect unless it is fully disclosed at the time the order is placed or before the bird is delivered/shipped. The buyer has the right to refuse a bird that develops any problem/defect during hand-rearing. Any situation of this sort would be discussed and agreed upon prior to shipping.

Prices of birds do not include airfreight/shipping charges, nor any ancillary charges such as crating charge, DNA sexing charge, charge for prints of photos, etc) that are add-ons to an order (Please see the reserving page for a full explanation of all charges). We reserve the right to refuse to sell a bird.
