We were delighted to receive an email from Marcos Dabdoub Jr. from Kingston, Jamaica with these beautiful photos of Jamaican Yellow-Billed Amazons (Amazona collaria) nesting. These were taken in the Kingston, Jamaica area. The first photo, taken by Saskia Raebel, shows the male guarding the nesting tree. The next two, taken by Marcos, show the female inspecting the nest hole. Thank-you very much, Saskia and Marcos, for your kind permission to share these wonderful photos of these rare birds with us!
Maybe later in the year we'll see some of fledging chicks!
